The Flow, what's new July 2026: there's an assistant in your account, plus a rentals system, running your account from Claude, and the revenu app on Android

    Quick summary

    • Ask AI, an assistant built into your account, now acts on your own data: it answers, writes in your voice, and gets jobs done
    • You can connect your account to a Claude subscription in about five minutes and run it from there
    • Your build-your-own AI agents gained schedules, triggers, a guided builder, more connectors, and a way to test them before launch
    • A full rentals system arrived, plus editable paid bookings and a deposit-or-pay-in-full choice at checkout
    • The revenu app landed on Android, and the customer portal was rebuilt into one tidy branded login
    • Smaller wins: get found by AI search, sell straight from a form, gift cards at checkout, and better reviews tools

July was the biggest month yet, and most of it was about one thing: proper AI landing inside your account. An assistant that does the admin for you, a way to run the whole thing from Claude, and build-your-own agents that now work like little employees. On top of that, a full rentals system, bookings you can finally edit after payment, the Android app plenty of you have been asking for, and a rebuilt customer portal. Here is the month in one place, what each thing is, what it does for you, and where to find it.

The big one · Ask AI

Meet Ask AI, the assistant built into your account

Ask AI is an assistant that sits inside your account and acts on your real data. It is not a chat bot that answers a question and leaves you to do the work. You give it a plain instruction, typed or spoken, and it does the job and shows you what it changed.

Four things it does well. It answers straight from your data, so "show me every appointment booked for tomorrow" gets a real answer with no report building. It writes in your voice once you have set your brand voice, whether that is an email, a post or an ad. It takes action for you, like creating a contact, tagging a batch of people, or rescheduling an appointment. And it briefs you before a call: "summarise this customer" pulls every message, payment and booking on that person into one hit.

The part most people miss is that it builds templates and sets schedules. Ask it to write a quote follow-up in your voice and save it as a template, and it is there every time after that. Tell it to schedule a follow-up for Monday at 9am, or to send an invoice on a date, and it sets it up and runs it without you.

What it means for you: an afternoon of admin can become one sentence. The jobs you keep meaning to get to can be handed over and actually done.

Where to find it: look for the Ask AI icon in the top bar of your account, or open Ask AI from the left menu for the full-screen version. Type or talk to it. It also now reads files you attach in the mobile app.

    AI · Claude connection

Run your whole account from your Claude subscription

If you use Claude, you can now plug your account straight into it. The setup takes about five minutes, with no code and no key. You sign in, choose your account, and you are connected.

Once it is linked, Claude can work with your account directly. It reads your contacts, moves deals along your pipeline, and drafts your follow-ups, all from a chat window. It is the same setup I use to run a lot of my own day, and the full step-by-step walkthrough is on the blog.

What it means for you: the AI tool you may already pay for can now do real work inside your business, not just answer questions in a separate tab.

Where to find it: follow the connect guide linked from this blog. You will need a Claude subscription, then it is a quick sign-in.

    AI · Your own agents

Build your own AI agent that works while you sleep

The build-your-own AI agents grew up over July. An agent is a little worker you set up once to handle a specific job, and this month they picked up the pieces that turn them from a party trick into a staff member.

They can now run on a schedule you set, with nothing needing to trigger them, so a Monday 7am summary or an end-of-month wrap-up just happens. They can fire when an appointment is booked, confirmed or cancelled. Every agent keeps an activity feed of what it has done, and shows its sources when it answers from the knowledge you gave it, so you can trust it before it talks to customers. This week a guided builder arrived to walk you through setup, and the list of outside tools an agent can plug into keeps growing, with Make, Calendly, Canva, Monday.com, Cal.com and more now on the list. There is also a new way to test an agent and tune its instructions before it ever goes live.

What it means for you: agents that do scheduled work, react to your calendar, keep a visible log, and can be checked and tested before they meet a customer. Proper little employees.

Where to find it: in the AI agents area of your account. Open an agent to add a schedule or trigger, connect your tools, and test it before you switch it on.

    Bookings · Rentals

Hire out gear, rooms or vehicles straight from your account

If any part of your business is hiring things out, your account can now run the whole show. The rentals system handles hire by the hour, the day, the week or the month, with live availability so two people cannot book the same thing at once.

It takes deposits, and it confirms bookings automatically by text or WhatsApp, so you are not chasing people to lock things in. Gear, rooms, vehicles, equipment, whatever you hire out, it is all managed in the one place next to the rest of your business.

What it means for you: a proper hire operation without a second system, and far less back and forth confirming availability and payment.

Where to find it: rentals are switched on per account. If you want it, get in touch and I will set you up.

    Bookings · Payments

Edit a booking after payment, and let customers pay a deposit or in full

Two booking upgrades that quietly remove a lot of friction. First, you can now edit a service booking even after the customer has paid. Open it, change the services, add-ons, staff member or coupons, and the total recalculates on the spot. The booking tells you whether more is owed or a refund is due, and you can process that refund right there, back to the original payment method. No more cancelling and rebuilding the whole thing to change one detail.

Second, when a service has a deposit set, checkout can now offer the customer a choice: pay the deposit, or pay in full. Same booking, their call. The sleeper win is that paying in full also lets buy now, pay later providers finance the whole job, so on a bigger service "four payments" can be the difference between booked and thinking about it.

What it means for you: fewer cancelled-and-rebooked messes, fewer people bouncing at checkout, and bigger jobs made easier to say yes to.

Where to find it: editing sits on the booking in your calendar, and the deposit-or-full choice is in your service payment settings. Service bookings are switched on per account, so tell me if you want them on.

    Your apps

Get the revenu app on Android, iPhone and desktop

The Android wait is over. The revenu app is now on the Google Play Store, which completes the set: desktop for Mac and Windows, iPhone, and now Android. Your conversations, bookings, contacts, payments and pipeline, on whichever screen is closest.

If you or anyone on your team has been running the business through a browser tab on a phone, this is the week to stop. The app is faster, handles push notifications properly, and all three downloads live on the one page.

    Download the apps →

What it means for you: the full toolkit in your pocket on any phone, plus a proper desktop app instead of another browser tab.

Where to find it: revenu.com.au/apps, with links for desktop, iPhone and Android.

    Your customers · Client portal

Give your customers one tidy portal with your name on it

Every one of your customers can log into a private, branded portal that lives under your business: their invoices and estimates, their contracts, any files you have shared, their courses, and their account details, all in one place. A lot of clients have never switched it on, and this month it got rebuilt.

The new version brings all of that into one connected home instead of separate screens and logins. It loads faster, feels more premium, and carries your brand from the login all the way through. If you run courses or a community, your public pages for them are now built to be found in Google, while your paid and members-only content stays locked.

What it means for you: a professional, one-login home for your customers, and less time spent digging through emails to resend an invoice or a file.

Where to find it: the new experience is switched on per account, and it changes what your customers see when they log in, so get in touch and I will turn it on with you.

    Websites · Getting found

Get found by Google and AI search tools

Two updates that help the right people find you. When you publish a website, funnel or webinar page, your account now adds the behind-the-scenes code that helps Google and AI search tools understand it, if the page does not already have it. That is what helps you turn up in search and get quoted by tools like ChatGPT.

On top of that, you can now add an "llms.txt" file to your site, a plain summary of your business that AI answer engines read, straight from your domain settings. Once saved it lives at yourdomain/llms.txt.

What it means for you: as more people search through AI tools, your pages are set up to be understood and quoted, without you touching any code.

Where to find it: the page code is on by default from here, under Settings, in the SEO and AEO section. The llms.txt file is in your Edit Domain screen.

    Also new in July

    • Sell straight from a form or survey. Connect your payment provider inside the builder and let customers pick a price level or product option before they pay.
    • Every form submission can save itself as a PDF. Turn it on and each response is saved as a tidy PDF on that contact's record, ready to view or attach.
    • Long forms can be saved and finished later. A half-finished form, survey or quiz keeps the answers, with a "continue or start over" prompt next time.
    • Gift cards at checkout you take. Apply a customer's gift card when you record a payment, charge a card or set up a subscription, not just on their own checkout.
    • Review requests from your own sender. Set a default number and email for review requests, and target a specific date range of reviews in a campaign.
    • A different AI bot per channel. Web chat, SMS, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and email can each run their own bot, with routing by customer tags.
    • Automations that know when a human steps in. Workflows can start, pause or stop the moment you or your team reply to a customer.
    • Edit big automations by describing the change. Tell the builder what to change and the scope, check the preview, save. No hunting through fifty steps.
    • Buffer times on your calendar. Pre and post appointment buffers show as visible blocks in day and week views.
    • Finer calendar permissions. Decide exactly who on your team can manage bookings without getting into setup.
    • Auto-send emails from company and custom-object automations, not just contact-based ones.
